Can you tell me if I can use a old Bin and if so how do I know if it will work and what to look for

well if you have dn then no. b3v you can use the one released on the 8th

Since your in the pansat 2500, I'm assuming your using a converted 2500 to 2700 receiver. If so than just remember to use the proper files.
As to know what old files to use or what to look for is to just try out many different files. If you find one that works, than you can always report it here and share your happiness with us.
