I was watching TV last night and my signal just disappeared. On the screen it says weak signal. Not sure why as the receiver in the basement works fine still.
Checked all my settings and they look good but not sure what else to check if there is anything else to check.
Thanks

Well I have factory defaulted the unit and still nothing. Can not even seem to get it to power on. The red light is on but nothing shows up on the tv at all. Seems like its not powering up.
I had a spare SV 4000 sitting around and it works fine at this location but the CW800 nothing.
Thanks

Don't forget to do a F1 0000 to apply the patch!

if red light is on and display is on the receiver then it is indeed powering up , however if the green signal lock is not, hence the no picture. but you are getting to a menu, I can deduce from you being able to do a factory reset. sooo reload current bin and redo your antenna setting make sure autoroll is on and patch is enabled, if you have no signal then you are not going to be able to scan your sat(s). of course.

Well the red light is on and the screen reads boot on the receiver and then goes black. Nothing on except the read light. Did a factory default and still the same thing. Nothing on the panel of receiver except when I turn the main switch on it tries to boot and then goes blank.
HELP???

sounds like u locked out the receiver ..... turn the power off at the back .... press and hold the power button on the front and while holding turn power on from back ... this will put the receiver in boot mode... load ur bin again.. u will have to use the cable.. mine did this before and this worked for me so try it maybe it will for u too
