I just bought coolsat 7100
Do not know what to do next
I am trying to catch signal from southeast bird, but no luck
I am not sure box is updated to latest bin or not?
Should I load box with bin or not? before catching signal?

Latest file will get you the channel working but if its just a signal your looking for at the moment then any file, including the factory file will show you if there is a quality signal on there or not.
Throw on the latest file if you want.
Is fine.

Find your sats and set up your antenna settings
and scan for channels.

If your really new to all this than I suggest you read all you can here.

do you have your dish aligned to the sats.
