I have a sonicview 8000 with Hd sq using 119 & 110. I have seemed to lost alot of channels including locals. " NO SIGNAL". Quite a few of the transponders have no Quality. I checked langsat and setting are correct. I did a factory reset and rescanned and still missing channels. I would appericate any help.

It could be that your dish moved.
or
It could be that your switch is dying

try swapping out your sw-21 switch and see what happens.

if you realign your dish start with the skew adjustment first .

if you make an adjustment to the skew on your dish you will have to also adjust elevation and azimuth also to peak your signal out.

I used a friends sat. Finder and adjusted dish. I have all my ppv,Hd, but not my locals. when I go to the TP's for locals on 110, no bars on quality. The TP is 12268. Not sure what else I can do.

Hey I'm having the same trouble with my set-up. I traded out the Sonic HD8000 for a Veiwsat Ultra and I get everything I originally had, but when I trade the Sonicveiw back in I loose a lot of channels and the quality level seems to drop back on a number of tp's. I'm using a Cheita switch which seems to be working great on the Ultra and also worked great on the Sonicveiw until this hiccup. I have done the factory default, rebinned the factory bin 3 times and then set in the new bin, factory defaulted again then rescanned the sats but still coming up with only about half of charlies channels on 110 and 119 but I did get all of bev's channels this time which I had lost all of when this anomolly first started.
You can try the factory default routine I did and see if that brings you any more channels.

Good luck and let me know what happens.
