:noclue:My VS Plat 2ooo is flashing from 6 to 7 then on and off???? never happened before?? cant get menu up to do anything like factory reset?? what does one do?? can I down load a factory file/virgin file then the latest file?? or can I do sumit else?? I tried power on / off same result>:noclue:

I have loaded factory bin, loads ok, then when I load latest file it starts flashing from on/off to 7 and sometimes 6??????? shall I try virgin file?? then factory, then latest bin???

HOW TO CLONE ONE XTREAM TO ANOTHER XTREAM
Connect the Master Xtream (the one with the info) to the wall outlet and TV & have power on from the back of the Xtream.
Connect the second Xtream (the one you want to clone to) to the wall outlet with the power off in the back.
Connect the master and clone receivers together with a null modem cable.
On the master receiver click on MENU, INSTALLATION, RECEIVER UPGRADE, ALL INFORMATION, then OK.
Turn the to be cloned receiver on from the back and the transfer will start.
When the transfer is done it will take about a minute for the clone receiver to process the info. Make sure you give it plenty of time to finish.

Do at ur own risk!!! the instuction say xtream but the procedure should be the same.. someone correct me if this is not right ...

Its possible that your current file is corrupt causing that screw up on your box.
Your factory file made it work fine until you put the current file.

I would delete the current file OFF your computer and download a fresh copy from this site.

Or do that cloning thing which will work too

try doing a factory default then load the virgin file to your vs plat rec then cut your rec off and then load the new file 080710 then plug the rec back up and set your settings then scan sats and let us know if that worked..
