it works on 2500 converted to 2700,,,,only thing it doesnt get all the channels.....but those who need the tube right now.....its workin on mine.....need to first do factory reset on channels....clear the channels and satellite list....then write 254 bin found in 2700 files.......then do scan.....to go back to jvvh bin when it comes out.....simply write 208 bin and then lastest jvvh bin over it.....ive done this alot when the latest jvvh bin is still not here yet......hope this helps for a while...lol..

You forgot to tell them that the 2500a Remote control will not work. But if you got a 2700A remote control it will work great. And you are correct that you do not have all the channels but you still have a lot.
THANKS FOR THE INFORMATION :)

Wrong. Mine works just fine. Open the battery compartment of the remote, remove one battery, insert it REVERSED for 10 seconds, and press the power button once while it is in that position.
This has the effect of clearing the processor inside. Re-install the battery correctly, and it will work with the converted virtual 2700.

sorry about the post.....but i wouldnt try this ......my pantec just went down after about six hours of watchin tv with the 254 bin......it froze up and just popped and went dead.....so maybe it wasnt worth not waitin for the jvvh bin......will let you know if it can be revived....but if you cant risk your fta then dont write this bin to the converted clone....

It didn't dawn on me that you were using a regular 2700 uncompressed file, and what happened to your box is the norm when doing that; works for a few hours and then dies.
The good news is that now you can get some experience JTAGing!
Doing that SHOULD bring the unit back to life.

Are you saying that if I need to go back to 2500 converted to 2700 all I need to do is to write the 208 bin file? I currently have a 2500 and I converted it to 2700, yesterday I converted it to the new PUFF, loaded the new 254 PUFF file and I'm getting scrambled channel. Any idea?

Clone kills are time delayed.
I don't recommend doing this unless your a JTAGGING pro. You can risk it but why bother when clone safe files always come out shortly after :noclue:

Forget my last post. I got it to unzip. I think Winrar was corrupt. Thanks
