360 Elite elite Pvr problem..

I am trying to record to a hard drive with ext format when using the epg and the programs are Back to Back it will drop the second one. same tuner and chanel, any ideas on how to solve would be usefull..

I have that problem. One workaround that I'm going to test is to record the second show that is back to back from the first recording on the second tuner.

Here's my setup. I have a dish 500 pro plus lnb with only one line running straight into the house into a dish pro plus seperator and then into the receiver.

I have my channels copied to both tuners on my elite. What Im going to do is set one show to record on tuner 1. Switch to tuner 2 and set the immediate show thats following to record.

I'm testing this now and Ill let you know my results.

Splitting the back to back shows across two tuners does work

just edit the event timers so that nothing over laps say you have a show from 4-5 and one from 5-6 change the 1st one to end at 4:59 and you should be good.

This works for me. just set the times manually for the first show. the second show you can just hit record from epg.
