i have a 8100, have had it a little over a year, last week came home from vacation and my screen was stuck on a picture of the "globe", ive tried disconeecting, cables reconnecting, re booting but its still stuck on the globe. any suggestions to correct is appreciated

do a factory reset . you may also need to load the factory bin after as that will act like a tune up

good morning, thanks it worked for the northern provider but not dn, the box is not mine but im helping a friend, what we did not do was install the factory bin, he will do that next, and report the results, thanks Ace

Well I should have responded some time ago but I forgot. I did a factory reset several times and all has been working fine . I do have a question though I am wondering if I should ever load a factory file with the loader . Every thing is working fine ( just no high def . should have done a little more homework ) well thanks for all of the help We all get from you all as our testing continues .
