You have to use many layers of aluminum foil and get the level just right before you add the charcoal. Being a parabolal, the steaks cook very tender.
(Remove the lnb first)

any tips on how to convert it into a smoker for ribs? What about a way to make the LNB arm a rotisserie-type thingy for whole chicken?

I use mine as a hat like the vietcong wore. Helps keep the bird shit off.

flip it the other way and it makes a great wok for stir fry.

Brilliant! One of my favorite things to do while the grill is heating up is to throw down a couple of drinks. With one of these babies I wouldn't know my name or whose houise I was at when the steaks were finally done!
