just got one question here guys and gals, and yes I should know the answer to this but memory deserts me here... lol... if you got to put both sets of keys in for each provider how would you go bout doing it... as the manual key entry guides we have are for one set only.

you don't need to do the keys...just add the lines you need with the red key on your remote
or if you need try this link

as long as you have rows, no id's needed as they will load.

Unbelievable!! Is this the same GUI as before?
I could understand a coder changing the Homesat bin to work on the Xtreme, But why rewrite the old code with old GUI.
Either way I'm totally shocked this was ever released. I'll have to dig out the box and load it up just to see it with my own eyes. lol

well I am all for testing but I buried my two long ago on the bookcase... they are now holding up encyclopedia britainica and cant really see using one of my bookends for anything else when all my other boxes work.
now this is pure conjecture on my part but I can't help but think this thing wasn't cracked at all but just resurrected to save face and that they are thinking of releasing new boxes with IKS capabilities. They already have them in Europe, did a little research last night and they have one model called an E-box and another called an I-box and both have ethernet features. Also, with a little more digging I also found some screen shots and they have the same GUI as before.
here is a heads up... if ya see a new IKS version of the extreme surface it is nothing new.

even better seems like last files released for these was a long tinme ago so either support is the same as we come to know with the ariza brand or they are having a lot less ECMS in Europe and Asia ... go figure :D

Thanks for digging Wiz.
I can see the plan of attack now. They will bring out the fixes for the ariza's for a while bringing the good name back and then will bring the new stbs on to our market so we will buy them and praise the Dingo name again. :D
I don't think I will buy one

Makes sense, but why would they not put a name to the release? Keeping the coder a mystery doesn't really put faith in the box. <unless it is an independent> Just makes a person wonder what game they are playing.

This bin seems to be working very well here for the past few days. I've found that it takes up to 4-5 minutes to roll but works equally well on both providers. Does this time seem overly long? Also found from testing that the bin works best if left to set up its provider code lines itself. All thanks to the mystery coder and to JA for posting. :chicken:

Don't get me wrong, I like the box.........Hate the file support, I hope something comes out, but I am not holding my breath!

yeah was obvious that was no Ariza release ...man the dudes who coded that one even fixed the red light syndrome LOL
yeah was obvious that was no Ariza release ...man the dudes who coded that one even fixed the red light syndrome LOL
Totlaly agree that it was not Ariza but an independent person or group that released this file. I guess we could simply wait and see if there is another JvvH out there that enjoys the challenges and finds a way to convert this box into another, like was done with the 2500A being converted into a FLU.
Got my hands on a 2500A, converted it into a FLU and it works better than the original. But at tleast we had a chance to see a great picture of a short while.
I've heard that too. best of luck to them,he's been a great assist to all of testers.
