Any info on a good hard drive for this unit also do I need one with its own power supply or can I get one with power from the USB Thanks in advance.:)

You can get an internal hard drive and install into an external case. That used to the way to do it because pre-built external hard drives were kind of expensive. Now hard drives are cheap including the external hard drives. Hard drive which its own power source is of 3 1/2" format factor and has larger capacity. USB hard drives that runs from the power of the USB port are of 2 1/2" form factor. Currently the fastest 2 1/2" drive spins only at 5400 rpm which is somewhat slow. You can but external hard drives form Seagate, Western Digital or Maxtor (bought by Seagate). You can get them online from frys.com, buy.com etc. You can probably get a 320gb drive for about $100. If the warranty is important to you. Some of them have a 3-year warranty.
