How Do U Copy From One Bluejay Stb To Another

Copy Software from receiver to receiver
In order to copy the software and channel information between 2 BlueJay receivers, follow these instructions.

1. Turn the power off both receivers from the back panel

2. Connect the two receivers using a null modem cable

3. Turn the power on the "Master" receiver. Make sure the receiver is in "standby" mode. That is, the LED light on the front panel must be RED.

4. Use the front panel keys and press the following keys in this order (menu, channel up, volume up, channel down, volume down, menu)

5. You should see the message CPPG on the front panel of the "master" receiver

6. Turn the power on the "slave" receiver. The message on the master receiver will change to "STRT". A progress percentage will be displayed on the front panel of the "slave" receiver.

7. Wait until you see "GOOD" on the front panel of the "slave" receive

Hi Just angel, I tried this from my BJ2 to my BJ Plus and it didn't work. I got the CPPG message on the master but when I turned the slave receiver nothing happened. Does this work from the BJ2 to the BJ Plus or do they have to be the same kind of receiver?
