need to start the write bin process as soon as you see a light on the reciever after turning it on from the back. like i said, turn off from the back, have your finger on the mouse to write bin, and as soon as you see it start up, hit write. then it will begin moving slowly with a dash across the screen and move up and back over until it finishes writing. let it write and finally end up on the word on....on....then rescan it on top of tv and it should be good. of course write the lastest bin to work it opened.

I had similar experience but mine started (I think) when I reloaded my channel list that I backed up with channel master. Anyway I powered off the receiver when in the menu, and when I rebooted it showed a 0 on the display. Seems my boot sector is thrashed, can it be jtagged back to a 2500 again? thanks.
