Got sounds but no pic EVERYWHERE. reset, rescanned, nothing. Anyone else?
Scratch that, sound's gone too now.

i was up fine since i bought the thing now i'm staring at a black screen. captain, what'd ya do to me?!

Too bad Captain is a very good machine, Read read read. Rather then telling us how you wished you hadn't bought it, tell us what problems you are having. The people here are great and the support will help.

yeah...my bad, i'm just ticked off.
i've got the dongle, it was rockin for a while with no problems and then it just all the sudden didn't wanna work anymore. i don't know why, all the channels went out. i can hear sound on the hd chans but all the rest are just scrambled.

i tried to change the file to go to standalone but the usb won't read...been trying for hours. i don't have a null cable.

Maybe instead of boo hooing and crying in these forums, you need to spend a couple of bucks and get yourself a null cable. It's a well known fact that the USB has been an issue for Captain receivers.

"Goodness" the dongal is now working but please give up on the usb thing not worth the effort.
