Charlie HD problem

I just installed my module into my sv8k and scanned my sat. I can see the hd channels but I don't have any picture or sound. On the other hand, all my regular charlie channels work fine(premium and ppv).

Can somebody help me?

Unplug your receiver and check your module/board.First make sure they are in the right slots and also make sure the connections are clean and snug(very important)

making a factory rest made things worst, now I can't scan HD channels anymore.
About my installation: doesn't the fact that my receiver can detect my module means that it is properly installed?

I noticed some thing weird when I scan my sat I see sometimes turbo-8, I guess it means it's locked on HD channels but no channel are added to my chan list

I don't know why but now it did scan HD chans and when I tune some of them, sometimes, I get an image and sound for a fraction of second and then it goes away. I statring to thin k that my module is broken or something...any idea?

My subboard was not inserted correctly into my module, that is what was causing my problem. It's weird because my receiver was detecting it...

Sorry guys, but maybe I talked too fast. I got the same problem back...but a bit different. It maybe due to the latest incoming ecm or to my setup. Now here's my problem:
When I tune an HD channel, it works perfectly for a few second then freezes a couple of time and then goes blank. I reopened my receiver and everything was fine this time but I still get this HD problem.

I'm really confused now

I might have an isolated incident but I did a factory reset set my settings. did not turn the external module on. my sv8k performed better than ever. although turning the module off had no effect without factory reset & reloading files. before that my receiver acted very irratic. it is not the right setting. but if it works for me. I will not try to fix it.

Seems like I was right finally. I returned the module and sub board where I bought it. I just received my new parts and installed it right away. Everything is now working A-1.
