Cloning Magnum to Magnum
Painless Magnum to Magnum Software and Channel Cloning - A Hidden Feature

Many people have asked if the Magnum can have it's software, sat settings and channel info cloned from (Magnum A) Master Unit to (Magnum B) Slave unit. Well the answer is a resounding YES. Here's how:

Magnum A = Master
Magnum B = Slave

1. Make sure you are watching TV on (Magnum A) "the master" and verify that it is truely worthy to be called MASTER! This aslo helps prevent copying the wrong box.

2. Using the toggle switch on the back of the unit Power off A and B.

3. Insert the Null modem cable between A and B.

4. Power on A while pressing the UP on the front panel. (APP---- will appear on the LCD screen)

5. Power on B and the DL procedure will begin.

6. Wait for GOOD to appear on LCD. (This is VERY IMPORTANT)

To Clone Channel Data follow the same procedure as above only instead of pressing only the up button press and hold the power and the up button.
