its all about the money. No to hijack but, remmeber when Coolsat put out the card sharing a few years back and wanted you to BUY a card and a card reader. This is so they can controll the US market imo. Who really knows. my 2 cents are stay away from iks. Make your own judgement!

And the price is not cheap oh well $109 just for the dongle........

$109...lmao that's what I was paying for minis when I last bought them....I guess it's their way of making you feel better that you don't need to go buy a new receiver ????

My first thought was they would have probley made everyone buy new units ( fair enough IMO ) , but to those who ran out and bought a Card and reader when coolsat did the cardshare a few years back , spent around 200 usd to get it up and running, it lasted about 3 months before a stand alone fix was released. So my point being is, if everyone runs out and buys this 100 dollor dongle, what use will it be If or When or ever, the stand alone fix is released? my 102 card is a coaster and the CS5k is a door stop now :P Either way they have you by the balls, Either pay for service or buy the dongle.... My 2 cents, wait. its 109 now? Everything cost A lot when it first comes out, then drops price. Id just hate to be one of the ones who did buy the dongle and then have no use for it later other then looking at it collect dust. Use your own judgment.

PS. If your kids dont have cartoons, go to cartoon networks website. They can watch all the shows on the computer. It keeps my kids happy while the TV is down.

Can someone tell me where we can find the CNX power hub for the Duo/trio etc.

Nobody seems to have it that I know of in the Toronto area.
