Is there some way to separate the bins or educate us better as to which ones work for which method? To my understanding, they are:

1. Bins that have to be jtagged
2. Bins loaded thru serial port
3. Clone safe bins
4. and now a PUFF bin

Am I correct to think that there are now 4 different bin types for the 2500?

I need to know which bins work on a 100% genuine 2500 (not clone) and
is converted with the serial conversion (not Jtag).

Thanks for any help explaining these!

1. Bins that have to be jtagged
The Bootfile that needs to re-write the CPU itself are Jtagged not Bins
2. Bins loaded thru serial port
Factory files and current files load this way like any other stb
3. Clone safe bins
Blacklist puts clone kill codes so only ORIGINAL pansat 2700 will be safe here. An original 2500 is different to the 2700 CPU. So you need clone safe bins on all clones and converted stbs
4. and now a PUFF bin
These fixes are starting to become too big for the converted receivers to handle. Some changes to the main program have been made to free up space. If you convert to PUFF than you should always use PUFF fixes there after. Its basically the same jvvh files with extra software taken off for room. But its important to stay with PUFF files once you convert

Just stick to one type bud and avoid this confusion

Any clone safe bin for converted receivers will work. Its only cause you have multiple coders stepping in making there own files

Thanks for any help explaining these!

I think I'm correct on this. If I'm not, I hope someone can correct me. This is just all that I gathered from all the reading I have done on this

Man, that is exactly what I need to know. I understand the PUFF concept.

It's just that sometimes it's hard to tell exactly what the file is & sure can cause a few problems putting the wrong bin in and going to Jtagville.

Thanks for the great explanations!

Hats off to the coders! Thanks!
