A couple of things to be sure of.
1) if you bought your cable on flea bay, check all connects are wired properly.
2)make sure the program is set to parrallel port, not serial.
3) CARD READER disconnected

4) if this is when trying to unlock, keep hitting OK till you get unlocked.

more if about your steps, ect would help.

Might have to go back and try to solder the header to the board better? I had to use a pair of closed needle nose pliers to push down on each pin while soldering to get them to go thru the PC board. Just soldering them to the pads doesn't seem to make an electrical connection? Also running a seperate ground wire from the PC to the receiver is a good idea. Skymax doesn't seem to run on all computers either. My modern CompaQ wouldn't work but had an old Packard-Bell with a 150 hz pentium that did? To J-Tag you need to use the Parrallel Printer port and your cable should be short(12") for it to read correctly.
