converting the ariza

I have ajtag coming and now I have to now how to converting my ariza 700

is there any way of converting the ariza 700 via the serial cable? if not, where did you get the jtag?

just so you know jtaging is not for the inexpiernced sauderer you must have a steady hand and uderstand the pinouts of the electronics.

As of this moment i have not seen a conversion for the ariza via a serial cable. As for the jtag you can make it pretty easily or purchase it off fleabay for around 5 bucks plus shipping (ie. hxxp://cgi.ebay.ca/UNIVERSAL-JTAG-FOR-FTA-RECEIVER-10-12-20-pins-PANSAT_W0QQitemZ250256394199QQihZ015QQcategoryZ11726QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem). The jtag conversion shown on the above thread is very simple to do. Unit works much better after conversion but still has it's little quirks. I suggest to use this as a back up unit and purchase a stb that is supported a little better. Check out the site sponsors they have some good deals on.
