I need help setting up a friends CS8000 with a motor. He has it mounted and can find 4 satellites . When he sets it up and loads the channels for one of the satellites it works fine. When he goes to load the second satellite he has trouble with the first one he loaded .
Does anyone know how to add the second satellite so both positions will work? Any help would be appreciated .

You will notice that each satellite has a postion in the list. Make sure that once you have set them up, the satellites that you want are in different numbered positions.
My list is setup from low longitude to high longitude.
Number 1 for me is AMC6 (72W)
Number 2 for me is SBS6(74W) and so on.
Go to the number 4 DISH position, for example, and click on it. Then arrow down to "satellite" and "right arrow" , select from the list , the bird that you want in the 4 position, and set it up.
The smart thing to do is to set up all your sats first in the positions, and then don't mess with the order of them.
This is a kludgy menu system ( exactly like my old Ariza Extreme, which tells me something) but it works .
Hope this helps.
