Hi Guys,

I just want you to know I have been a loyal Coolsat supporter since day one. I currently have a 4k, 5k, and 2 7100's, I love the 7100. With no Coolsat support I went to a Sonicview 360 Elit, hookrd it up, programed it, and I can't believe how easy it was, and how good it is working. Sonicview has been up and running since Jan 9th. This may all change with the coeding DN is claiming to do by the end of the year' If Norw gets there act together I will continue to use the Coolsat's in other rooms, right now they are nothing more then a paper weight. Just want everyone to know how well Sonicview works.:D

Sonicview and coolsat is like comparing a ferrari Enzo to a Chevy Cobalt. :D
Atleast in the way of support

Does your 360 elite have PVR capability and if so was it able to read the files you saved with your 7100s?

Yes my 360 has duel PVR's with picture in picture. I don't know if it would copy 7100 files, I never tried to do that??:)

I have both units. if you record on one, you can't play it back on the other, unless you go through a lot of converting...even though they are both .ts format. I like both brands. I find the CS has a more reliable PVR, unless you do a manual event timer in the SV. Also, if you record back to back shows on the SV, leave a minute break between times. Otherwise the Elite has a tendancy to skip the second show.

Centauri hit the nail on the head when it comes to support.
