Has anyone had the same problem as me before, need help on this one.
I have a CS7000 that has worked for quite a while. I uploaded the new IRD BIN and it froze so I took it to my computer to reload file 111 via COMM1 (this worked last time it quit working).
When I hooked it back up it was fine, I reset it to factory setting and started to enter my DISH SETTINGS. Problem started whenl I was setting the LNB options. When I opted for "SW21 2 dish" the PVR shut off. When I pressed the on button on the remote, the PVR turned on and asked me for my LANGUAGE choice. I entered that the DAYLIGHT SAVINGS option and it shut off again. Each time it shut off there were a display of dashes on the PVR LED display. I unplugged my LNB to the PVR and I was able to go further in and set the proper LNB setting (I have a SW21 with 1 dish) but the frequency was incorrect due to the LNB line not connected to the PVR. Once I hooked the LNB cable back to the PVR it shut off right away and I had to turn the LNB back on and I was back at the LANGUAGE option again.
Any ideas??????
