CW700 newbie needs help!

I just received a new cw700 to replace my CS6000. I loaded the latest bin, setup 110 and 119 then performed a scan and enabled the auto roll. I still bet scrambled channel. I read in another thread that I did not want to hi-jack about a patch? What is it, where do I get it and how do I install it.

Any help would be appreciated.

press f1 on your remote then 000

Receiver display shows H 000 ; TV screen displays "Patch Enable" or "Patch Disable".

Just wanted to say thanks to all. Right after I posted this I found the f1 button. The old eyes are not what they used to be! LOL

I did a auto scan on my new boxes and do not have some of the channels that I had with my cs5000. Such channels as spike, speed etc is missing.

Did I do something wrong or am I supposed to do something else?

You can always delete all channels and try the scan again. I would scan on a sunny day where no clouds can interfere with the scan.
