The FTA general discussions section always has the latest update on what's going on so when your getting a scrambled signal, check that first before the mods tear into you for not reading the posts and wasting threads.

They can call it wasting posts if they want, but I'm starting to see a pattern with CW that has me somewhat alarmed. Bins, in the past, have been put out by CW either, ahead of VS, or within an hour after. It appears now, that most other boxes have bins, but srill nothing from CW. Have we a new coding team? Did someones money dry up? How you go from first to last is beyond me.
Before we start, don't give me the "be patient" spiel, I've been around this game too long for that. Something has changed at the CW coder camp...and I'm simply wondering what.

I was just thinking the same thing. Especially today. When I started seeing the VS and SV bins being posted I figured it was just a matter of an hour or so before the captiveworks files are up. Still nada. They used to come up at least the same day it was down late in the evening but now I'm definitely wondering whats up. I will say they were on of the few that had a patch for the last time we were down although it only lasted a day or so.

So, here we go again....VS, SV, DB and even CS have fixes. I heard that VS bought a fix from the emulators, but I also heard that CaptiveWorks bought that fix. Ya, I know....it's likely all bullshit, but I would still like to know how CW goes from first to last in a New York minute!

cw fix is in again..... within 12hrs seems fantastic for any box, or even 24hrs would be fast IMO, regardless as we used to wait much,, much, longer. changes in team structure, changes beyond their control, really if ya think about it, the info should not be made public about their inner works anyway, bev and chucky don't need the info...

You're right...at least not by sitting on our asses and saying "That's OK, guys...take your time" but maybe by not buying the boxes? I guess they haven't figured that one out , yet. Last doesn't sell! Ya, I know, CW has no ties to the coders, but we all know what really goes on (unless you're a complete idiot). In a consumer driven market, complacency leads to disaster. I can't speak for all, but I can certainly afford to buy a different brand, if need be. While I'm on this rant, I may as well add, to all the people who say " It's not free...testing costs more than subbing".....BULLSHIT, add up all the PPV, porn and whatever.....you're at $200 a month. "Testing" costs you that? For $2400 a year, I could have so many receivers in my house that I couldn't swing a dead cat without hitting one.
Anyway, I'm way off topic. My initial bitch was about CW going from first to near last. I stand by my bitch.

I'm happy now...CW had a pretty fast fix out this time. Maybe last time was a fluke, Korean holiday or something. If I was really anal, I'd think that my post did some good, but I'm not...and it didn't. Well, maybe I'm anal, but I'm sure that nobody that mattered read my post. If they did, though, I have to ask...Why are you fucking around here, reading posts from a dummy like me, and not working on a fix? Anyway, my rant is over. It's 4:15 AM and some asshole with a streetsweeper is going past my house every 15 minutes, so I have bigger fish to fry.

I bought an Nfusion....I haven't got it yet, maybe tomorrow. The guy that sold it to me promised that this thing would kick ass and take names....I'll report back. I still have about 40 CW's (big house).
