i've factory reset the cs6100 and now when i scanned it again i've lost lots of channels for 121.
While searching on net i've read about DISH 500+ with a DP 34 switch or DPP44 and also checked on di*net site that international channels are now on 118.7 sat. ? what is going on? Do i need to throw 121 big dish and buy new one for 118.7? what is this new LNB which gives you signal for 119 and 118.7 ??

118.7 anik f3. is for international which is the replacement for channels previously used on some of the echostar satellites which will become obsolete I am not sure which ones. it is 105 and or 121. also some of the future high definition channel will be on 118.7. so for some. the international channels & hd channels without 118.7 they will be left out. I am using a superdish 2. with a 118.7 repoint kit. allowing 110/118.7/119 & 129 on 1 dish.
also you can use the repoint kit with a dpp44 switch & the superdish. or replace the 119 circular lnb with a linear lnb & get 118.7 & 119 on the same lnb. in it is a much more cost effective way of getting 118.7.
I you are able to change the 119 lnb then replace it with a linear lnb point it at 119 & you will have 118.7 & 119 off of 1 lnb. if the 3 lnbs are made together then you can change the bracket & add lnbs.
also that is a more cost effective way of getting 118.7. purchasing a 118.7 repoint kit with a dpp44 switch & a superdish can cost upward of $350.00 you will need to load a channel list file and or a channel edit file containing anik f3 to add it to your receiver.

thanks for the detailed info. if possible will you please post picture of your dish with lnbs setup so i can make sure i do the same, what are teh settings of LNB under installation? (I mean freq. etc., what type of LNB to select etc) i would really appreciate if possible pl.
can i use same dish of 121 for this? Do you rotate the LNB for 118.7 & 119 like you do for 121?

settings as follows 110/119/&129 are the same 11250 lnb frequency. lnb type ocs-dp. 118.7 settings lnb frequency 10750. lnb setting is set to single. In order to use a linear lnb you must use a dual output linear lnb for 118.7 & 119. when you bring in 119. you will also have 118.7. I am using a superdish 2 metal dish. unlike the superdish 1 which is fiberglass. which will not work with a repoint kit. I am sure the superdish 2 & the dish 1000 will work I dont beleive you can use a dish 500 dish. three way lnb mopint for the 1000 & the super dish are available on fleebay. in my case I also had to add a skew arm repoint kit. If you dont need the hd 129 it could be easier & cheaper you wil not need the dpp 44 switch you can use a dp 34 switch
