Duplicate between 110/119

Does anybody else end up with dual channels when they scan,

what kind of scan are you doing?

Sometimes that happened to me when I did a blind scan.

Also make absolutely sure that 110 dish really pointed at 110 and 119 is really pointed at 119.

Otherwise that would give you duplicate channels as well

I always get doubles or triples on coolsat, viewsat with blind scan.If I do not blind scan I miss some channels..no big deal just an inconvience.MY nfusion and viewsat 8000HD do not get doubles or triples...best boxes !!:D Does anybody else end up with dual channels when they scan,

You need to scan verticle polarity only, when you scan all or both horizontal and verticle you will get duplicate, only scan verticle

While doing set up,is there a little box telling you your pointed at 110 or 119?

And you will onlg get half the channels if you do this and by the way it is left or right not horizontal or verticle for dn or bev

stiffyman do you mean using channel list, scan vertical separate, then horizontal next.
I believe my 110/119 must be bleeding thru, meaning someday I'll have to scale my mountain of a roof ... the pitch is mighty scary.
I'll use Lynnstat during removal of duplicates, when I freelance, my channels require me to have to hop back & forth (not me the remote) to recapture a signal.

Al, been at this for years, always had the problem, Viewsat Ex, using Dish 500
dual LNBF, don't believe Dish Pro ... settings are the norm :)

i say...load an updated Satinfo file ...

have an viewsat extreme and have set up and program for others. only time this happens is if you donot delete all before rescanning. by the way i strongly believe that dual lnbs will always give you trouble. only use one dish per sat. never have any probs.

did you do a channel scan or a blind scan i know if you do a blind scan you will get two some times three of every channel. what you need to do is a factory reset and rescan everything. thant should get it fixed.

If you use the same diseq # for each sat you will always double up.Dsh pro has built in diseq. Still must regester 1 ,2 ,or 3 on box.

had good luck with that on some boxes

but try what nokia says 1st...
