HOW TO Enable Patch and AutoRoll on SonySat DCR-5500 PVR
Not Getting Pic on your DCR 5500 PVR?

By default (or after a factory reset) the patch and AR functions are disabled.
************************************************** ********
This steps will guide you thru enabling these features.
************************************************** ********
Step 1: Push the Menu Key
Step 2: Enter 9999
Step 3: Use the Remote to ensure that Dish AU is enabled for Autoroll
Step 4: Use the Remote to ensure that Bell AU is enabled for Autoroll
Step 5: Use the Remote to ensure that Patch is Enabled
Step 6: Push Exit to return to TV

Leave your box tuned to a channel for a few minutes and let it Roll the keys.
