Epg recording. Finally figured it out

Finally figured it out. It was my hard drive.I bought a Maxtor .Come to find out it was preloaded with some software which put the drive to sleep after a certain time. The receiver was unable to wake the drive up so to speak!!!
I now have an Iomega dumb drive and everything is working fine:D

You can time record on the channel you want, I don't think the CW800 can use the EPG to set up recording. The Visionsat IV200 has that feature, just scroll the time and channel on the EPG and press the record button on the remote. It will mark it and recording the program when the time comes and ends when the program ends.

you can do it with cw 800 just press the green button on your remote controle.
