I use the recording button after selecting a movie in the EPG. The guide will show the recroding icon. Green light will be displayed. Most of the time I will not get a recording and the receiver is frozen after completition. I have to unplug HD and boot receiver from rear.
Using Segate 500 one touch which has been formatted FAT32 either by desktop or by receiver. The HD seems to work as I can copy the EPG and sometimes record programs live, but almost never get a recroding when a future time is selected.
