hello everyone. we had a bad storm over the weekend and now i get a ''bad or no signal'' message. I think that im gonna have to make atrip to the roof, and see if my dish is misaligned-or if its still there for that matter. just wondering if before i go up on the roof, if anyone has had the same problem and fixed it . i did all the resets and got nothing. thanx

Your dish is probably not out of align its paobably just snow covered and not letting the signal through. Just clean off the snow.

make sure u apply a good sun block:D

and spray ur dishes with PAM oil to make the snow slip & slide next time

really, i didnt know about pam!!!!gonna try it, doesnt it attract birds lol!!!!!!

take a spare lnd up with you .Might save you a step or two . What about that switch ? If you have one in line. Moisture sometimes gets in the lnb might look at the cover.

PAM does wonders...lol:chicken:

hell spray it on all of the dish & LNB's & connectors...

its a good water repellent ...

and might as well ...replace the connectors with fresh compression type...

those crimp on or twist on types are sucky
