Flashing the Factory File w/ USB Stick

Hey guys, I have not yet had success being able to flash my 8100 with the factory file. It keeps telling me that the file is not recognized. I seem to have many issues with this reciever and I'm sure that this is the reason (if not atleast part of it), so wondering how you guys flash your factory files with your usb stick or do you have to hook it up to your comp and run the clear_sw.code file. Thanks in advance...

you cannot load the fact bin using usb you need to use a null cable and a loader for fact bins

I need help on using the coolsat usb! After I put the bin in my coosat usb and transfer into the receiver, it doesn't work. Can you please send me some help. thanks!

I am sorry, I didn't tell what kind coosat I have. It is 8100 HD coolsat.

You have to unzip it then extract it. After that you have to copy it to your usb stick then rename it to _sw_code.
