not getting all channels

im setting up a 700 and the 193 bin says to save channel list. but i cannot get all the channels on it so if i go ahead and run the 193 bin and save what channels ive got can i get the rest later.ive got a 600p and i cant get all the channels on it either also my buddy is having the same problem with a 600s. is it something we are doing wrong.appreciate any help.

also how do i save channel list.
