If you are having problems with set-up after loading new bin but worked previousy, try this.
Know issues:
Not seeing Sats, 62.5 etc.
Missing channels.
Anything that worked previously.
You need to get your old set-up info back.
Back version to working bin. 1.08 was very staple and had no problems with sat 62.5.
Use TCs instructions to do this.
After time zone and language say YES to auto scan. Let CS do it's thing.
Check that all is working as far as number of sats, settings etc. Good time to change your preferrences and options to what you like. Note that of course the AUTO ROLL will NOT work. If there is no option to save your setting to USB device you will have to load the newest working AR bin on top of newly installed working bin. Note: not general practice but will let you save your settings afterward.
Once you have stomped on 1.08 (or whatever bin you used) The unit should re-boot, if not just power cycle it. This time DO NOT do a factory set. Your settings should still be there from the previous bin. Now if all seems fine save your working settings for future bin loads. Under utilities, data storage, save all settings data to USB. Save to thumb drive, HDDs or BOTH. (do it twice)
If unit shows any hick ups that are NOT reported for the current bin, do a factory set as Intructed by TC and say NO to auto scan. Go to utilities, data storage, load data from USB.
