this is not my work
you will need a wireless gaming adapter ,radio shack or others will have what you need
you will set it up per its instructions(game adapter)
set up for dhcp at first.
if neighbors signal is strong enough it will auto assign an ip address for iHub.
if not,you will need to get it connected to your pc and set it up with static connection
if connected....to pc
run>type cmd > type ipconfig /all >you will see the network address here.
copy that info into sv Ihub ip config setup page.
take cat5 or cat 6 wire to dongle
sv ip config page
set to static
try with dns off an server ip address of
77.93.75.115
other settings in master manual.
may have to use dns.
depends on neighbors connection.
use the ihub master manual for set up of serial number(located on dongle)

A wrt54gl flashed with ddwrt v24mini generic works great and they are cheap...ddwrt is free.
You can set the router up as a bridged client or repeater...(it works both ways) with DHCP on and it will assign your iHub an ip automatically. It is standalone with no connection to your computer. You must however connect to your computer with cat5 to set it up and acquire your wireless AP.
To do that, start your web browser with your Nic disabled, you will get a page that says unable to connect (because your Nic is disabled) once you get that page, enable your Nic (network interface card) and type in your routers Ip addy.
Once inside the ddwrt control pannel go to status tab...select wireless and at the bottom of the page select site survey...a list of available Ap's will be displayed...join the one you want click continue. You will be taken to a different page...select save then apply settings...you are now connected to a wireless AP. Set up your sonicview for the iHub and you're done.
I would suggest that you never browse or check email through your router's connection as information sent through the signal may contain user names or email account names and information on you can then be gathered.
I would also suggest downloading Commview for wifi-Fisting for fun hacked version through torrents so you can monitor the activity associated with the AP to which you are connected. You wil be amazed at the information you can gather with commview for wifi. You will also be able to see the ip of the iHub server send and return verifying that you are connected...you will have to have a compatible wifi usb/card for commview for wifi though.
If you would like a setup tutorial for the wrt54gl flashed with ddwrt PM me and I will send you a link that describes it to a tee.
You dont have to set it up as a repeater, a bridged client works just as well...that way you will not be tempted to connect to your routers broadcasted AP, in turn removing all anonymity.
Once again, to connect to your router allways connect through cat5 with your Nic disabled first open a web browser then enable your nic and go to the ddwrt interface... NEVER browse the internet through your router or you will defeat your purpose.
