How to install the adapter & 8psk module in the SV8000HD



1) Turn OFF the receiver and unplug the power from the outlet

2) Unscrew 5 screw (2 on each side, and 1 in the back) to remove the case cover

3) Remove the module bracket

4) Remove the sticker in the rear

3) Connect 2 cables to the sub-board

4) Connect the sub-board to the module .
Please be careful that Parts mounted surface should be up.

5) Connect LNB Power cable from the power supply board to the sub-board connector.

6) Connect the cable with the smaller connector from the sub-board to the connector of PCB
Please make sure the red cable should be in #1 pin.

7) Connect the cable with the smaller connector from the sub-board to the connector of PCB
Please make sure the red cable should be in #1 pin.

8) Fit the module thru the hole(reserved for the UHF remote antenna)in the rear of the receiver tight it up using nut & washer

9) Connect a loop thru cable connecting the IF Output and the module input

I put this together when I installed my "S" & "Q" board and maybe it will be helpful to others when they install their adapter/module combo's.

It is very easy and does not require electronics knowledge as long as you can follow directions it is quite simple. It has pictures and is easy to follow.

I have had mine for just about a week now and have experienced no green screen issues at all with the S&Q combo.
