I posted this a week or so ago & why not here, sooooo.
Here's some newZ from Viper-that was discussed yesterday in & around his main forum!
good evening....
lets see if i can clear something up for you guys,
currently ver1.1 is up on Cardless as of 2/3/09....
ok let get into HIKS - v2 team is currently working on HIKS to provide the NEOsat users with wide Open Feed on N3 streams... for DNDNDNDNDNDNDN b3v and sky... Testing for this is going to happen this week "Mod testing HIKS "
HIKS was developed for this reason "N3" for dn, and b3v ect... as of right now the code is being employed to DN...bc N3 is here and can happen at one min.. then with in the time b3v will be added. that is the game plan - but it was said by v2 that he was prob going to code both DN and B3v but would like to have one of them up and runnin on HIKS.
it is our main goal to provide the users with the best support that we can.
im not here to defend the lack of cordless support or the westin on EKS that got everyone in an uproar, Wat i can do is tell you want i know.... as Itaintrite has already stated Wat i have posted on the home site and straight form the mouth of the project leader of EKS
so im not going to repeat it, but if there are ne questions on wats happenin i can try to answer the questions you have on EKS - but remember i have nothing to do with EKS or the development...
ok - to the user that said we will have to wait 1mth in the darkness
no we are trying to prevent that now... these are our growing pains as most units do. if you remember the myth that Nfusion was down last year this is Wat they were doing
we are trying to do it in the matter of weeks to get the users back the support that is needed...
HIKS will be wide open on dn b3v and sky with N3 when completed... there is no ETA on the process but we will try to get it to the users as soon as we can... this round we are makin it more stable....
ok to the user that said that lack of support with " cordless " start when DrT Quit...
yes loosen DIrT was a GREAT lost to us... as the new cordless coder is learning to code the unit.... we are trying to patch them " v2 team " not D1 team " v2 is trying to patch the cordless and get HIKS up and running b4 N3 hits... we have made it Clear that HIKS was No1 on the list. but we are trying to do both HIKS and the patches we do understand the level of frustration
and i cant say sorry enough for the inconvenience that this has brought our users... but plz understand this blue skies are in the future and things will get better and the support is coming and going to be better then b4..
as we are trying everyday to improve the performance of this unit... and keep the users watching tv in the near future
you guys are correct this is the best Unit i have ever tested and it has to look forward too
