Here is info needed to jtag a pansat 2800...
included is a build your own and files needed.....
*Build your own Pansat Jtag Cable*
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Here's what the pin layout should be:
How to make a JTAG cable
The pins are 2, 9, 11, 13, 15 and 19:
ONLY THE RED NUMBERS
2 4 6 8 10 12 14 16 18 20
1 3 5 7 09 11 13 15 17 19
Note: pin1 is square, and there are numbers around the jtag header which help indicate the pin/pad numbers.
Reffer to picture bellow called "3500pads".
Pin out from the 20 pin Pansat header to the 25 pin male parallel printer port connector
From Pansat 09 pin to 100ohm resistor to pin 2 on Parrallel connector
From Pansat 11 pin to 100ohm resistor to pin 3 on Parrallel connector
From Pansat 13 pin to 100ohm resistor to pin 4 on Parrallel connector
From Pansat 15 pin to 100ohm resistor to pin 13 on Parrallel connector
From Pansat 19 pin to 100ohm resistor to pin 5 on Parrallel connector
Ground 18 thru 25 on the 25 pin male parallel printer port connector. Connect ground to pin/pad 2 on Pansat jtag header.
Reffer to picture bellow called "Jtagschematic".
Okay, here they are. There have been a few requests so I dumped my 2800 flash.
I also included a full memory dump.
You will find the files in two folders: The one is the extracted files from the receiver while flashed with the latest bin (at this date, its the 416, June 2007).
The second folder contains the extracted files after a factory default and reload of the factory bin.
6 million ways to die, choose one....
