if anyone else is having problems - I keep trying the new bins (its been about 3wks) now and I am still not having much success.

I recently I reinstalled the Factory Bin 114 and the lastest Norw V179 - tried the hard shut offs - factory restore etc and the system is still not up.

Any advice would be appreciated!

Do you have the autoroll on? Do you try to load a softcam? If not, don't ever do that.If you load the key file it can mess up the autoroll process,and it may not roll after that.
If your dish is aligned correctly and you see good signal on most transponders, just wait 2-5 minutes and the keys will roll automagicly.If your still having problems, but it has worked fine in the past. Try a factory reset, then re-flash firmware, and re-program. Good luck.

This system worked a few weeks ago - this is the steps I have done in the past while and today

System restore to factory default-turn off power- reinstalled 114ird reinstalled V179 - turn off power and let it do an auto detect - and its not detecting my satellite?

Any other ideas?

What Sat are you trying to get ? If you are pointed at B3V try V136 or V137 they are slow on channel change but no freezing.

If I am reading this right? After you do don't turn off power leave it on. Reinstall 114 ird and the newest bin and don't turn it off. Check that your auto roll is on and just wait a few min. Go get a drink and by the time you get back you should have TV.
