My sonicview 8000 keeps on freezing,I did many times fatory reset and putting in the file 291 and a format my usb.Don't know what to do anymore?

Couple different things to look at
What is your signal & quality like? any thing below 60 can cause it to freeze
Are you using the 8psk ? it might be getting hot. A fan may help

Bev 91 and 82 :strength is 64,quality is 97.
echostar 110 : strength is 58,quality is 45.
no I don't have a 8psk.

I think you need to align your dish . Readings are low. I'm surprised you get anything on echostar. Should be 90% and at least 65 to 70 %.

That's a weak signal for 110.
Mine was freezing but I just kept rebooting and it has not froze for a few days now.
You could try re-downloading the latest fix from Geeks, format your USB stick, then re-load to your stb.

I just went to align my dish for 110 and now strength is 66 and quality is 90,also I have a sonicview 4000 and it's never frozen

on my sonicview 4000 : echostar quality was good but not on my 8000,so I changed the diseqc switch and the quality went up.

today my receiver been on all day and there's no freezing so far.
