View Full Version : Little Help - upgraded from CS to CNX

And thusfar it's been quite nice - no more dragging the dang STB to the computer room to update. Autoroll is real sweet and the PVR is fantastic.

My problem not getting all the channels: In the channel search menu - I pull up my 119 bird and at the bottom where it shows what you are locked on to is 110. Any thoughts on this? AND - in my DISEqC switch setup - I can ONLY lock on to 110 and 119 in switch 2 and switch 4. Rest of stuff is 11.250 on both and TP 12224/12224-39 respectively.

I have a Dish 500 and the LNB is about 3 yrs old or so. . .

Did you try 110 on 4

and 119 on 2?

or 110 on 2

and 119 on 4

That might take care of it.

NOPE - I swapped it and get the same results. In fact, due to this issue I get 3 of many channels. Is it possible the STB has a problem? I am going to experiment w/ setup only 119 and 110 rescan and see. I have my CS in paralell and it gets both birds no problem - when it's not scrambled. LOL

Too bad you don't like it. What model do you have?

If you ever decide to get rid of it, let me know and I could take it off your hands, if you want to purchase another STB make.

try turnin sw21 on then look again had similar issue not long ago.... and you would prefer what to cnx????they damn good stb

Folks - I got 3 STBs - the CS6K is the best (accept PVR and NO support) LOL

What other receivers do you have? I might be able to help with the others.

I don't have a CNX receiver, that is why I would be interested in it if it were for sale?

Then I could learn to set it up and help others...LOL
