Help with LNB

My son has got what says to be a DishPro Plus LNB. It has on the rear Port 1 and Port 2. He has tried running one cable to his receiver but it will not work. He has 2 cables hooked up now with a splitter and he is picking up some channels. My DishPro Plus has on back just 1 and 2 not Port 1 and Port 2 and I am running one cable and getting both Sats 7 and 10. Can anyone tell me the difference and what we have to do to get the right LNB.

With DP Plus LNB and sats 110-119 only. You can have hook up 2 receivers, one to 110 and the other one to 119. The 3rd one is for in, to hook a other dish to it. You can't use that for hook a other receiver. In the anntena setup you have to make diseqc seting for:
119-1
110-2
and LNB for OCS-DP
But before you do all this you have to do a factory default and than you set all up. Thats all. Good luck and enjoy it.
