Can not load Program

My captain 8000hd will not load the new program.. Tried using the switch on the back and using the remote ( turning it off and on). I am using the serial Cable.. When I use the switch in the back the reciever shows ( .. .. .. .. ) and stays that way... When I use the remote it stays on boot...and it wont load the program.. Can some one help me out.. I have had no problems loading the bin before..:noclue:

Try downloading file again, unzip and try it.

Tryed 4 time ..No luck. Also tried factory reset and than load the bin. No Luck.

wonder if you cable went bad, sure you read this.

i am still having the same problem.cable works fine on viewsats.powers on,then . . . . can bring it to boot by holding power switch in on front while turning on rear switch then powering off and on with front switch,but everything stops there.black screen when connected to tv.tried bin 148 ,149,factory,nothing happens.

When you get to that point, press the up arrow on stub.

Can not load any bins..The reciever will not load any program...When tring to load the bins. the reciever shows . . . . or boot.. Nothing else...

I had same problem, hit the step button until you are in the right video set-up, or manually move channel up/down from receiver. Should unlock so you can load new bin. No guarentee with this to get signal but was able to load new bin.

Hey folks having the same prob as above, when I try to load file with cable a window opens that says to check condition. cable's fine. Have no idea what to do.

Make sure the loader your using is the latest version.
Also use any latest version factory file

Thanks for the reply Centari. I have used the newest loader and file and still nothing. Any other suggestions.

I had to send my reciever for repairs.. Could not get it to work..Luck for me the reciever was under warranty.. Its working good now...
