Loading Neusat w/ USB Flash Drive

With the convenience of usb flash drive, you can down load the bin file or channels list to your neusat without connecting to a computer with one condition....all files needs to be unzipped before you copy it to your usb drive. with the receiver is on, plug your flash drive and the receiver will load the files up on the screen by itself, if not...

the following will help you:

***with usb flash drive already plugged in***

1- press menu
2- press channel down to scroll to "system setting", press ok
3- enter 0000
4- press channel down key to scroll to "software upgrade by usb", press ok
5- select the file you want to copy to your neusat....have fun

For those of you that had converted the Nusat 9000HD to captain HD8000, it is possible the DVB no longer works with the USB Flash drive. That is because the captain HD8000 FW do not support all the USB Flash Drive. I used the A-Data flash Drive to convert the Nusat to Captain, but it no longer take A-Data to upload the S/W. I inserted the [PNY] brand flash drive to update the s/w and it works fine. The A-Data flash drive actually crashed the Captain HD8000 [Nusat9000]
