Thanks a lot in advance:confused:Use the 1.02 loader, released last night to load the 1.18 file, thats all same layout as the 600S Premium. You can also use the usb stick, menu, usb, follow on screen.Upon completion a factory default is mandatory.lol

.Upon completion a factory default is mandatory.lol

ok What I did is:
-took a USB Stick put the file "CW800SV1.19_2007_09_21.bin" and loaded it via the USB Menu.
- it asked me to Reboot I said Yes
- then I scanned the channels

Then all of them were still scrambled !!

what did I miss?
do I really need to factory default the thing or you were just kiddin ??

I could be totally off base here, but other models of CW require you to enable the "patch" by pressing F1-0-0-0 on the remote. otherwise it won't be able to unscramble encrypted channels... also make sure you have autoroll enabled.

Yeah I looked and then found out that autoroll was disabled I enabled but nothing changed !
do I have to rescan after or update the .bin file again ?? I am confused !!
Should I just restar from scratch after i enable autorll ?
maybe also if I understand what does bin file do too it would hep ! :)
I mean how does it crack or get the Encryption key anyways ?

You should just have to enable the patch and turn on autoroll to get channels in, just leave it on a channel and give it a bit to roll and it should work. Only other suggestion I can make is to be sure all your antenna settings are correct for the sat you are pointing at. And maybe go into your system info(it should be under accessories) and make sure the software version is correct - it should say the same S/W version as the bin you flashed it with.

If any of that is not right i'd flash it back to the factory default and start over.

Good to hear bud! Enjoy the free TV!

As for populating the EPG, my old CW600 has never been too great for it at the best of times... Maybe get 1-2 hours filled in at best. Try this link for channels that will help fill it it.
