so i didn't follow my own advice(why fix something if its not broke) I loaded the newest 3.14 dongle file and now i have nothing. So i decided to load the 3.08 which was working just fine.....Oh the 3.14 update would not allow USB updates, so I had to use the cable to the the 3.00. I did this then loaded the 3.08. I did a factory reaset ands rescaned for channels. I can not get the orange light to turn green. I have tried to set up the static ip and followed the directions to the letter. I am using a captain 8000. any help would be great

1 ) In network Settings Please choose Settings
2 ) On the Top line scroll to Static IP Here you will be able to
manually input the settings
enter 0 for all values , Now go back to DHCP And click Exit 1 Disable
Network Save settings
3 ) Once Settings Have Saved Unplug your Dongle and Unplug your receiver
4 ) Wait 30 Seconds then plug your dongle back in and wait until light
is orange solid
5 ) Plug your Captain receiver in and turn it on go into System
Settings and Network and enable the network
The Receiver will reboot itself at this point After reboot wait 10
seconds and your light should go green
Note : If you tried this and still receive a Orange light Redo all
Steps Again But Change The Serial Cable Use a new or the original
serial cable that was supplied with your Captain Receiver

BM if using a wireless router, go into it's setting and make sure you allow this IP to be accessed.
