this is to help you the first time to setup your new NEOsat ipro 2000/pro once you have loaded your first file.
this unit has a very easy installation setup.simply follow along the basic steps.
0.)Installation Wizard Welcome.
press yellow button for next.

1.)Stage 1 language setup.
simply select your OSD language (system menu language)
and your primary audio language.
then press the yellow button for next.

2.)Stage 2 Location setup.
simply set your country/state/city/time zone/and set summer time on or off.
tip: when selecting time zone,look on the bottom of the screen for time zone info.then press the yellow button for next.

3.)Stage 3 S/N setup.
find your serial number located on the box your stb came with or on the bottom of your adapter for the pro model and enter it here or skip and do it latter.

4.)Antenna Auto Setup
your neosat can scan your hardware for you if it is compatible.
for example the basic dish 500 with dp twin along with other dn equipment.
option 1.press ok to start auto setup.this will scan your hardware lnbs/switch and enter your correct settings for you.
option 2.press the yellow button to skip auto setup and go directly to the antenna setup screen to setup manually.

5.)Antenna setup
make sure your auto detect setup everything correctly.
look to see the satellite at the top left.thats the one you are setting up,matches the satellite name on the right.thats tells you where your truly pointed and setup for.if needed make the correct adjustments so they match.
if doing all this manually,you know what to do.
6.)Scan
with the neosat,the suggested method of scanning is Network search.this insures all your channels scan in, including locals.
simply scroll down to the bottom on search type and press right button until network search start is selected.
make sure your signal and quality are good,
press ok button to start scan.
the first few seconds do not appear to be doing anything,this is normal,its gathering info it needs.total time to scan a satellite will be around 45-55 seconds.
repeat for all satellites your setup for.
a common mistake done by the novice, is to scan satellites they do not have hardware for.do not do this or you will get duplicates,and have to start over.
