Newbie with no channels.

I replaced my leased D*****TV receiver with the SV360 and scanned several satelites but I am unable to receive any channels. I am guessing I have to purchase my own dish even though I am paying for service. Any ideas.

I've used many dtv dishes/lnb's and all work fine
