ok guys heres a little info for an1 who did a factory reset w/knewest bin you lose your key menu and cant enable the patch so anyone who has done a reset factory default try this

Due to CW not putting Patch Enable in new bin, users need to do this if they are not up and running.

Load factory bin (3x) to wipe out current fix.
Load PREVIOUS working bin (1.81)
Re-enable your patch
Load new bin,DO NOT DO A FACTORY RESET or ANYTHING that will DISABLE your patch!!!!!
now,scan,etc., reset box from the back.....SHOULD be good to go on both providers!


hope this helps a few it sure did for me i was ready to throw mine off the 10th floor thought it was punched peace out

LOL, it took me 2 hours, and yes, you are right, i discovered that solution 2 hours later after much frustration.

I had turned off patched, loaded new bin, and went to re-enable patch and could not.

so reloading factory is the only way. ty for sharing.

is this for cw600s as mine is down on both dish and bev, and i never did a factory reset

NO, this is different
you are down because All fta's are down, the status
thread always shows the latest, its a great place to start

All these latest files that have recently been released are already useless. A new file is needed already :mad:

same here wolf did everything factory reset 3 or 4 times was getting pissed until i when online and googled a few sites and found out why and i knew there would be a patch for this later but now that didnt last long hehehe take care peace
