NFusion - When the EPG Doesn't Work
When the EPG doesn't work !
Symptoms:
1.You click on the blue EPG update button and nothing happes
2.You click on the blue EPG update button and it starts to update but then it quits gets stuck and freezes.
3.You click on the blue EPG update button it starts to update to about 60% and then just returns to the last channel you where on or it reboots.
Somewhere when you first setup your Birds you've made a mistake and it is in the DISEqC 1.0 section ,you have the Sats committed to the wrong Port and you did a channel search before you setup all the other Birds.
So you have to correct that in order to get the EPG working properly.
Here is my Fix.
Use the nFusion Remote
Click on the Menu Button> Go to System Settings
1.Use the remote and do a Factory Default.
the System now is reset to default
Click on the Menu Button> Go to System Settings
2. Set up the Location ,Time and other parameters for system configuration.
3.Go to Installation>Antenna Setting
Select your first Bird then choose the right port in the DISEqC Mode1.0 section.
After that click on menu and it will ask you to save this setting ,click ok on the Remote.
Now repeat this for all the Birds you want to setup.
4.After you got all the Birds locked in start a Channel Search with the first Bird and then the second and so on.
Use the Remote and click on the Guide Button and press the green Button and you should see all the Sats locked onto and the channels scanned.
Press the Guide button again and press the blue update Button and your EPG should start in the order you setup up the Birds.
The Update Meter will now go all the way to 100%.
This method will also get rid of all the duplicate channels you might had showing before.
Sit back and enjoy TV
